In her 8th year as a keynote speaker at DHHS, Lisa McLaughlin, M.Ed, Founder/CEO of EDvantage College Consulting and The Admissions Formula, shares more than 25 years of experience guiding students through the competitive college admissions process. Her presentation will focus on the key elements of college awareness and defining the factors that matter most when developing your college list.

Ask your questions about the college planning and admissions process and get answers! This session will be moderated by Lisa McLaughlin and is open for students and parents to engage with our college experts Betsie Rugg-Stassen and Maria Furtado.

Sr. Admissions Officer at Northern Arizona University

Betsie Rugg-Stassen is well-known in college admissions. Not only is she the daughter of Fred Rugg of Rugg's Recommendations, but she is a Sr. Admissions Officer for Northern Arizona University in Orange County and provides a wealth of knowledge about the Western Undergraduate Exchange.

Executive Director, Colleges That Change Lives

As the Executive Director of CTCL (Colleges That Change Lives), Maria Furtado promotes a greater understanding of and an appreciation for a student-centered college search and helps students find a best-fit college that develops a lifelong love of learning.
